GENERAL

Is a deposit/retainer required to hold my appointment?


Yes. Once a date and time is agreed upon, an invoice will be sent to you via PayPal from the artist. Be advised that no date will be reserved until the invoice has been paid. The retainer will be put towards your final bill and it is non-refundable and non-transferable. Final payments are accepted via PayPal and Cash. NO CHECKS. All payments must be made before services are rendered.




Do you provide on-site services?


Yes, I do! All services are done at the location of your choice.




What brands of makeup products do you use?


A variety of brands are used to ensure the best application is achieved. All of the makeup products that I use are professional brands that were designed to give long lasting results. Please complete the contact form if you would like more information on brands carried.




How long will the makeup last?


Makeup should last throughout the entirety of your event. However, oil and perspiration levels in each client vary and can break down the composition of the makeup.




How do you keep your products sanitary?


A good makeup artist will wash and sanitize their hands right in front of you, have clean brushes, and a tidy makeup kit. I guarantee all brushes are cleaned before each work day, and cleaned with antibacterial brush cleaner between clients, if required. Lipsticks and glosses are applied with wands and brushes, foundations are separated with spatulas and then mixed on a sanitized cosmetic palette, and all eyeshadows and eye/lip liners are disinfected with cosmetic sanitizer between usages as well.




How should I prepare for my appointment?


Please make sure your face is completely clean and free of any makeup or mascara before the makeup artist arrives. Feel free to exfoliate using a washcloth or mild facial scrub to remove dead skin cells for better makeup application and use a moisturizer of choice.




What is your cancellation policy?


Jaded Beauty understands that things come up and you might need to cancel your appointment. If that happens, please keep in mind: All cancellations forfeit deposit. Cancellations made 24 hours prior may reschedule appointment within 14 days of original appointment, depending on the artist’s availability.

Should I hire a professional makeup artist for my wedding day?


It is very important to hire a professional makeup artist for your wedding day as a professional will make sure that your makeup will last all day and photograph beautifully. Your wedding day is not a good day to risk doing your own makeup, or having a friend do it. Only a professionally trained artist will ensure that you will look and feel your absolute best on this very important day and that you will love your photographs for years to come. I currently have over 10 years of experience doing makeup for photography and bridal, so you can be sure that your makeup will last all day and look amazing in your photos. I will also be sure to provide you with a fun, enjoyable and relaxing experience on your wedding day, because I will come to you!




How far in advance should I book you?


We start booking for weddings up to 9 months in advance.

Do you provide services for large parties?


Yes, we can accommodate as many as possible. If there is not have enough time to provide beauty services for your entire party myself, I can find another professional artist to assist.
